- Apple Picking Schedule

-
- Although we’re open year ‘round, everyone’s favorite
season is harvest time. Juicy, tree ripened fruit is available all
year, but from July-November you can grab a bucket and bag we
provide for you and pick to your heart’s content. We have 20
varieties from which to chose. Please note our attached picking
schedule for the appropriate times to pick the variety of your
choice. Remember that a tree-ripened apple has a full flavor and
sweet taste. Our trees are dwarf and semi-dwarf, so you are able
to pick all varieties without a ladder !!!! When you’ve filled
your buckets, we’ll weigh your apples as you relax next to our
waterfall and fountain with an apple cider slush or a hot homemade
apple turnover. Fun for all ages, we do have one rule: you must
eat while you pick !!

- Orchard Tours
At Apple Country, we believe that experience is the best teacher. Your
church group, classroom, or favorite group of friends will be guided through
our 22 acres of production and research orchards, learning about our 30
different apple varieties, bees and pollination, pruning and maintenance,
cider production, harvest and much more. But the best part of the tour is the
"pick-your-own" with the bag provided and a cold glass of fresh
pressed apple cider. We’ll help you coordinate lunch or snacks to top off
the event.
